Good morning all and Happy Sweet Treat Tuesday! I must say, I have missed keeping in touch with all of you this past weekend. We had a bunch of family activities planned this weekend including a stay at the Americana Waterpark and Resort in Niagara Falls. The kids had a blast and it was a nice little family holiday. So, now I am back and have so much that I will be sharing with you this week so keep in touch. While staying in Niagara Falls, it got me thinking of my childhood where we would take the boat to Niagara-on-the-Lake every summer for the peach festival. Maybe some day soon I will be able to take my children to the peach festival, but until then, we can all enjoy a tiny bit of peachiness with these amazing decorated peach cookies from the extremely talented Bridget from Bake at 350.
Once you have your sugar cookies baked, Bridget takes you through a very detailed step-by-step tutorial on how to decorate your peach sugar cookies.
She makes it look so easy doesn’t she?!?!
Bridget adds even more detail to the cookies by painting on coloring at the cookie’s edge.
Then comes the sanding sugar to give the cookies a realistic peach ‘fuzz.’
Enjoy and happy baking!
