I hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas this year! The week leading up to Christmas was a whirlwind trying to get everything ready and organized but I did it. My Christmas weekend was wonderful. Christmas Eve was filled with all of our family traditions, which at some point I will have to share with you, and Christmas morning was a delight watching Machaila and Mackenzie open their long awaited presents. Nothing brings a mother more joy then to see her babies happy and healthy! We all spent some time at the cottage and while my husband and I are back in the city hard at work, our little angles are still enjoying time at the cottage with grandma and grandpa – lucky!!! And now on to the next celebration – New Year’s Eve! It is almost impossible to think of New Year’s Eve without thinking of champagne. So to get us ready for this up coming party I thought I would share this fantastic recipe from Heather Baird of Sprinkle Bakes for these sparkling little cupcakes which not only have champagne in the cake but in the filling as well, yum!
