As a celebration stylist, colour scheme inspiration for an event can come from anywhere. The favourite colour of the guest of a honour, the celebration theme, something from nature such as a flower, fruit or vegetable and from the current colour trends that are evident in interior design and decor. A little while back, Pantone announced the colour of the year. The upcoming colour for 2012 is Tangerine Tango! According to the Pantone website “Tangerine Tango, a spirited reddish orange, continues to provide the energy boost we need to recharge and move forward.” Just what we all need. A bit of cheerful warmth as we enter into this new year. So to get us all ready for the new year and new colour I thought I would show you some colour boards created by some fabulous individuals to get you inspired.
